Paolo Saielli
Founder, Managing Director & Technical Lead
Paolo is an Italian-born ceramics expert and qualified professional with 30 years of experience in the most innovative ceramic districts worldwide.
Collaborating for years with the main ceramics players in Sassuolo, the heart of Italy’s ceramics industry, allowed him to develop an in-depth and broad knowledge of all main technical scenarios.
Paolo served as Research and Development Manager at Gruppo Romani, overseeing the Group brands (Serenissima, CIR, Capri, Cercom, MOMO DESIGN) and ISLA Tiles (NGT) for 15 years.
He also consulted for various well-established companies to improve their product development capabilities. Key clients have included: Florim Group, Piemme, Gazzini Ceramiche, Dau Gress, Settecento and Mutina.
Together with Mutina, he worked on the development of high-profile collections with renowned international designers such as Inga Sempé for the Tratti collection and Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for the Rombini collection.
In 2016 he relocated to the United Arab Emirates to join RAK Ceramics, one of the largest ceramics brands in the world, as General Manager of the company’s Product Development & Innovation department.
Constantly driven by continuous research in the technical and design fields, Paolo’s work explores all kinds of applications, materials and latest technologies.
Today, Paolo’s personal pursuit of beauty in the ceramics industry continues with MProject Consulting, which he founded in 2019 as a promise to a special friend and to himself.
Stefania Bertolini
Product Development & Marketing Communications Manager
Born and raised in Sassuolo in a family closely tied with ceramics, Stefania has been fascinated with the ceramic world since childhood.
After completing her Bachelor Degree in Communication, she began her professional journey at a boutique Italian design studio, where she lived and breathed the vibrant world of Italy’s ceramic design district for over 12 years.
During this time, she worked first-hand on several projects with major Italian and international ceramic groups such as Rex, Atlas Concorde, Marazzi, Emilceramica, Iris, Graniti Fiandre, Casalgrande Padana, Panaria Ceramica, along with other prestigious brands.
This unique experience gave her the opportunity to be involved in all stages of the product development process, from concept to production and product communication. She subsequently collaborated with several Italian design studios including Versatile, SRS and Egodesign.
Stefania’s work has always been driven by great curiosity, a lifelong passion for the industry and a constant will to push the boundaries in ceramic design. She joined MProject Consulting in 2020 as Product & Marketing Communications Manager.
Stefania holds a Master Degree in Visual Design from NAD Design Academy in Verona, and is passionate about forward-looking, ambitious projects that challenge the status quo.
